Hi all,
could it be still normal, when
gfix -sweep -user SYSDBA -pass *** database_file.gdb
is not finished after more than 3 days of work on 11GB
database where there are no other connections to the server?
gfix version LI-V1.5.1.4500 Firebird 1.5
FB server is from Debian package firebird2-super-server 1.5.1-4,
OS is Debian Sarge, kernel 2.4.27 SMP
HW conditions are
2x Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.40GHz
fast SCSI drives with enough space
lots of RAM
almost idle machine
TIA, Ferda
