Yep. It would be piece of cake to layer gbak on a dll that you can
embed and control (BTW, that's about the same as my quest for having
the TCP listener embeddable - some people have a tendency to dismiss
technically sound ideas if they do not conform to their needs :-)).

And it wouldn't even be a new feature. Back in the dark ages (IB < 6)
IBConsole's predecessor (called IB Server Manager) had a DLL
containing more or less the GBAK code. It didn't spawn the gbak
process. Now in the bright current days we are forced back to do
CreateProcess() and the like. :-(
