I just installed firebird on my linux (gentoo) machine, and when I try
to run the server, it fails to run. Here is the message in my log:
tux (Client) Sun Feb 27 20:49:06 2005
INET/inet_error: connect errno = 111
tux (Client) Sun Feb 27 20:49:06 2005
/opt/firebird/bin/fbguard: guardian starting bin/fbserver
tux (Server) Sun Feb 27 20:49:09 2005
SERVER/process_packet: connection rejected for firebird
tux (Server) Sun Feb 27 20:49:09 2005
SERVER/process_packet: connection rejected for firebird
(Followed by the last message repeated several times)
Am I missing a step in the installation?
Thanks,
Eric
