Hello,

I am using a 45 GB Interbase 6.5 database, and i succesfully restored
a backup on Firebird 1.5.2.

I would like to know that if i create a backup using Firebird, will i be able
to restore this again on Interbase? I can try this myself of course,
but creating
a backup and restoring it takes a lot of time and was wondering if someone might
know the answer ;)

P.S. After i restored the database on Firebird, i noticed that the
database shrinked to about 35GB. Is this normal?
