I have downloaded and installed IBPhoenix version 1.5.2 (as
SuperServer) from IBPhoenix web site.
I have backed up my interbase 5 database from Interbase server
manager using the transportable format check box.
I am trying to convert my existing Interbase ver 5 database to
IBPhoenix by using the gbak utility from the command prompt (Windows
2000).
This is the command i am using:
gbak -v -c -p 8192 -bu 8192 "e:\database.gbk" "e:\database.fdb"
I am having problems as I receive the error "unavailable database
failed to create database".
I checked the services from the control panel and they are running.
I also tried to create a database using the isql from command prompt
but the same error message "unable to create database" appears.
Please note that I had previously installed Interbase 7.5 trial
version, but removed it prior installation of IBPhoenix version 1.5.2.
Can you please help?
