Hi All,
I have an installation where the Firebird server is restarting (apparently
at random, at this stage). Typical log contents are:
ILVSSERV (Client) Tue Feb 15 13:27:58 2005
C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5\bin\fbserver.exe: terminated
abnormally (4294967295)
ILVSSERV (Client) Tue Feb 15 13:27:58 2005
INET/inet_error: send errno = 10054
snip.....
ILVSSERV (Client) Tue Feb 15 13:27:58 2005
INET/inet_error: send errno = 10054
ILVSSERV (Client) Tue Feb 15 13:27:59 2005
REMOTE INTERFACE/gds__detach: Unsuccesful detach from database.
Uncommitted work may have been lost
ILVSSERV (Client) Tue Feb 15 13:27:59 2005
Guardian starting: C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5\bin\fbserver.exe
The server has one Firebird client process running on it.
Do I need to do a complete install for the debug build, or is it only
necessary to copy the fbserver.exe into the ..\bin directory?
I do not have the tools to inspect debug log myself, but assume it may give
more insight into the casue of the crashing.
thanks in advance
John
