we do a lot of CFML with Firebird using FB103 and FB15 both Windows
*(CFMX6.1 Windows) and *NIX platforms
first of all DO NOT USE ODBC for CFMX 6.1 the Jaybird JDBC drivers are
very good, a f I k !
for example...
For CF Version5 here is ODBC better first setup in System odbc manager a
datasource then verify it in the CFAdmin page.
this is good at CFMX / JDBC other..

jdbc:firebirdsql:myserver.domain/3050:/database/mydatabase.gdb?isc_dpb_sql_dialect=1
