Hi there,
At a client site, I have installed Firebird 1.0 , IBConsole 1.0 in a
Windows Server 2003 SBS platform. I then made sure both Firebird
Guardian Service and Firebird Server started before starting up
IBConsole, but the following error occured when I tried to diagnose
the connection throught TCP/IP in both Local Server or Remote Server:
Error - unable to complete network request to host "RDSEVER".
Failed to establish a connection.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively
refused it.
So I tried "telnet rdserver 3050" in the command prompt, but no
connection established either.
However, I have no problem in our test lab with a Windows Server 2003
SE platform. Is this a window platform problem? Any suggestion how to
resolve it?
thanks in advance
