I don't think so. Interbase and FireBird become different products.

FIBPlus components (www.devrace.com) were based on the same free
library as IBX, so the convertion would be quite simple. And the
FIBPlus developers declares support for both InterBase and FireBird.
(I started to use FIBPlus from scratch, but earlier I used IBX and I
moved my mind to FIBPlus without difficulties.)
