Dear Friends,
I have FB 1.5.2 SS on RH 9.0 Server and Win9x Client
application (D5+IBO+IBX admin Comp) connecting to it.
With IBX admin components I am able to Change SYSDBA
password from Client Application But the firebird script
to start, stop has old password reference which is not
changed. Hence it is not shutting down Server cleanly.
Is there any method to change SYSDBA password from client
application which will also reflect in Start/stop script ?
or shall I keep it as it is and continue with present practice
of shutting database by kill all signal which is fired in
shutdown process ?
Thanks
Best Regards
