Just to add to Adam's comments, you need a way to batching up these 7
million records. Its never going to happen quickly. Think of the line
traffic alone. The server in this contextx will quickly outrun the ability
to deliver the 7 million records.
BTW for a field like this it's better to use a CHAR(1) and not a varchar.
