Hi,

What happens when I delete a lot of records in a data base and try
to make a backup of it? Let me explain: I have a table with 5 milion
records and delete 2 milion records of it. The delete is ok, but the
backup stays lock (it is realy not) when reaches to this table. The
backup takes much more time to backup empty space than to backup
real data. Why is it?
