I have read Helens excellent bookd and understand the basic 2 / 4GB
size rule between Fat32, NTFS and EXT2/3 and 32 bit IO.

Is there a table somewhere comparing various OS's, Firebird versions,
IO width and maximum database file sizes. I am running Suse Linux 9
with Reiser file system. and a Win2000 server running Firebird
1.5.1.4481 with a 3.2GB database that will be growing quite a bit
next month when I archive more data after year end processing.

My next stop is a little more google'ng as well as reading release
notes, but I thought I would drop in hear and ask the question any way.
