Firebird 1.5 and delphi 7

tilll now i have use ibquery + updatesql both components

i try to do the same thing with ibdataset so as to use 1 component only.
of course sql modify, insert, refresh etc... are generated by delphi
without pb.
i edit, then modify a record, then post, then commit... no change in
database . strange ?
