Thank you Helen.

But -b[ackup] switch is optional, and I try run command with him.

If install Firebird in FreeBSD from package firebird-1.5.2-
fbsd521.tbz (from http://www.firebirdsql.org/) its default root
in /usr/local/firebird/. I reinstall firebird from package, but this
not correct problem. I run gbak in background by script, I not want
expose password of sysdba (or owner DB) nowhere.

While I run the following command:
/usr/local/firebird/bin/gbak -
b /usr/opt/db/proxy.fdb /usr/opt/db/proxy.bak

I, all the same, receive error:
Fatal lock manager error: invalid lock id (71608), errno: 35
--Resource temporarily unavailable

In Firebird 1.5.0 Classic server on FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE this
problem not appear!!!!

It is new feature, or problem.

How me better resolve this problem.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

YSV.
