Normally "rpm -i Firebird*.rmp" would suffice. You can check the
release notes for more details. You can also find detailed documentation
here: http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php?op=guide

Anyway your post is somewhat vague. What is exactly the problem
you are facing?
