Hi,
I have a big problem!
I have a DB on Linux, which I have to backup, and pack daily. To ensure that
the packing was successfull, I unpack the packed file, and watch for
differences. The main problem that my app on Windows platform tries to open
the backup file for read/write, but FireBird creates the backup file only
for read rights, so my app can't open, it takes that the process failed, and
stops every subsequent process.
Is there any idea how to get FireBird to backup files with all rights?
Thanks in advance,
SanTa
