The only problem that I can think of is that if you need to specify a
port number, then you will absolutely need the FB 1.5 client. Because
the IB 5.6 client doesn't support that.

Also, you can have the FB client in the same folder as your
application, instead of a system folder, so this should avoid
conflicts between the two.
