Hi,

A Hour is 3600 seconds.
if a team can clean 450 m*m in a hour then
3600/450 = 8 seconds for each m*m

there is 1000 m*m to clean so,
1000*8 = 8000, takes 8k seconds.

8000/3600 = number of hours = 2

8000- (3600*2) = 1600 seconds remainder= 26 minutes
1600- (26*60) = 40 second.

time to work is: 02:26:40

hourly payment?

80.00 / (8000.00/3600.00) , total cost / number of hours
approximantly $36 for per hour.

This problem did a primary school nostalgia in the evening time.. ;))
