We use FirebirdSQL in a restaurant Point of Sale application. Everything
from small "mom & pop" restaurants with 1 or 2 stations to swanky night
clubs on Miami's South Beach with 15 POS stations or more. We also have
many sites that are hotel and resorts with some using up to 40 POS stations
spanning multiple profit centers on 20 acre properties (all on a single
server).
