I'm not sure if this is the right place to discuss this, but trying to
answer your question... Suspicious? Here are some reasons that can
show to you why Brazil is on top:

1) 90% of Firebird users in Brazil uses Delphi and previously used
InterBase. Delphi is the most used language here. AFAIK, in USA, VB is
much more popular than Delphi. How many VB users do you think uses FB?

2) Brazil has very well organized communities. My one (FireBase) has
more than 11,500 *registered* users.

3) Brazil has the bigest Firebird event in the world (regarding
audience size). Last FDD got 600+ people.

So, as you see, it is not a surprise for me that Brazil was on top.

The Survey was announced in many international sites, including Firebird
main site, IBPhoenix, Orkut communities, YahooGroups discussion lists,
etc. Everyone in every country had the chance to participate.

So, before telling that something is suspicious, open your eyes and
see that the world is much more than USA.

If you want to continue the discussion, let's do it in private or move
it to FB General, please.
