Given the way in which Firebird has evolved I am not particularly
surprised that a country like Brazil has not followed lemming like the
activity in other countries. There is a large developer base there that
was using Delphi/Interbase and simply followed on from that, rather than
jumping ship. I am not particularly surprised that usage in the US is
below other countries, but the main thing is that we need to improve
take-up round the world ;)
