All--
I've got an instance of Firebird up and running on my web server, which
I administer remotely, and would like to shut it down so that it doesn't
restart every time I restart the server. This seems to be a non-trivial
task as a process called FBGuard seems to be protecting the Firebird
service from shutting down.
How do I shut down Firebird (on Win2K running as a service) so that it
doesn't come back up when the server restarts?
TIA
