I'm still having fun getting the Linux box stable - but more due to lack
of time ;)
Firebird installed without a problem. Use the .tar.gz version, un-'tar'
to a local directory, and run the install.sh. Only problem I did have
was that xinetd daemon was not actually running, and I had to start it
manually. I haven't found if it should have been, and it would probably
be nice if the install.sh started it, but I suspect that is distribution
specific?
