If you used the rpm, you only need to know how to use rpm.

Installation notes are in the Release notes (doc directory). if you used
the tarball install (not recommended for the less experienced!!) pay
particular attention to the notes about setting permissions.

FWIW, I just installed Fb 1.5.2 (outdates the version you have) on a
completely fresh installation of Mandrake 10 on clean disks. It was
completely flawless and took care of the permissions for me.
