one way to post to the newsgroup using OE is to write an email to the group
rather than a news post. The FROM field of this email is the mail address
you created your yahoo accont with, the TO field is
firebird-support@yahoogroups.com.

If you want to answer to an existing post you rightclick the posting you
want to answer to and select "reply to sender" (or along these lines as I am
working with a german OE an don't know how exactly it is called in the
english version) but then you have to change the TO field again to
firebird-support@yahoogroups.com.
