Wow, never thought this thread would get so much activity. It's a great
discussion - thanks for all the info!
And this is very true, if I never start to learn Linux, I'll always be on M$
Window$.
I think it's time to take a hard look at Linux, even if I have to hire a pro
for a few/several hours to get up and running quickly and even help support
the first install. I would really love to get up and running on Linux.

You're right. I was refering to Linux only because of licencing issues.
OTOH if
one never starts to learn Linux, he'll always stay on Windows.
