If the client machine has Firebird installed, you will not
specifically need to include fbClient.dll as it is located
in "C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5\bin" or wherever you
installed firebird.
Why do you want to avoid using this library? It is much easier to
include the fbClient.dll in your applications folder than to worry
about installing firebird on every machine that runs your application
(ony if client-server, you obviously need firebird on your server).
