Hi,

I use the >NET provider and have never had problems installing the
latest version. However I'm now trying to install 1.6.2 and I get the
message

"This application has failed to star because MSVCR70.dll was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Followed By

"Cannot register assembly FirebirdSql.Data.Firebird.dll"

The installation is then aborted and rolls back. Recent chages to my
system are:

XP SP2 (about 2 weeks ago)
.NET 1.1 SP1 (about 1 week ago)

Any ideas?
