Actually, IBReplicator uses events only with configuration
database, not with source or target. I would put the config DB
somewhere nearer, before firewall. Ideally to the same computer where
replicator server is placed.
On the other hand, Replication Manager uses events only for
monitoring, so if you don't use this feature, you can don't care.
