I have been using this combination (D5/D7) for the last couple of years,
using the _IB_Provider_V2.dll on the client. No major problems. Our app is
an accounting application and speed has been an issue on some of our larger
sites. However, we have a couple of 80+ user sites that have been running
without problems. Recent versions have suffered from the 99%+ CPU problems
mentioned in previous threads, but turning off garbage collection and
manually cleaning it up twice a day seems to resolve this. Also, indexing
everything is essential. This can also kill the CPU very quickly.
