Guilty. Back in the bad old days, there were several relational
languages. QLI is an extended, loosey-goosey version of Data Language.
GPRE supports a strict version that requires aliases, statement
terminators, and boring stuff like that. DEC's relational database
products and Datatrieve all supported Data Language.

QLI lets you ask things like "Print the first 10 owners of yachts"
