Our company uses Firebird 1.0.3 on a Linux Redhat machine and we are
needing some critical assistance recovering a backup file. In a bad
chain of events, we had a good backup file, and that file was
accidentally written over by gbak again while the database was
recordless. All the backup files are still there and show their
respective sizes (together they are about 6GB), and using the "less"
command in Linux will show that there is a lot of data in all the
files. What is the likelihood of this data being recovered?
