Jaybird noticeably slower than InterClient?

I never really compared them.
I used InterClient in the very beginning of my work, and soon switched to
JayBird, before it's first version was stable.
My impression of that time (and what others usually report), is that JayBird
tends to be FASTER that InterClient.

At least, it is surely NOT noticabley slower.
