i have a suse 9.1 server where i have multiple databases with a
firebird engine.
i am developing a .net application using firebirdnet provider and the
thing is that just to open the connection it takes like 8 sec for
each database. i don't have that problem if i am using the odbc
(easysoft odbc driver) connection and i don't have that problem when
connection via firebirdnet provider to a windows machine.

any help would be appreciated
