You sure meant: ./gsec ?

Easy way to check if anything is listening on Firebird port:

lsof | grep IP

>>--then, say your sysdba password is Nxr5ty7:

You also need a slash after a dot.

./gsec -user ...etc.


Actually these are Linux basics, so it's not a problem with Firebird.
