To clarify: do you mean the ability to make efficient queries on positional data, such as finding
items within a certain distance of a point (N dimensions), or a built-in algorithm for path-finding
along a graph, or something else entirely?

I'm assuming you currently believe firebird not to have these capabilities; could you describe a
few cases in which it performs poorly or not at all for your needs?
