Daniel,

The log file is complete from today. The gethostbyname errors occurr
every day and I was informed that I could safely ignore them. Could
they be related?

This is a network problem. gethostbyname is a Winsock API call.
Possibly it can't find the host database or DNS.

If all that you've shown is all of the log file, then it's hard to tell
why FB terminated suddenly, since the last gethostbyname error would've
happened almost 5 hours before. And, that would make those 2 problems
unrelated, unless you cut out some of the log file just to shorten your
message.
