Subject: Roles in Firebird

I have created one firebird role (using FB15), and I have specified
some grants for this role.

- Do I need to specify this role during connection to the DB?
- Or does it get active automatically?
- If no, Is there a way to enable this role automatically without
having to specify it during connections?
