Hello Martijn,
What I mean is disable network browsing at all!
Nobody needs it in a Firebird context. If the database is local it is
OK. Go on and browse it locally. If the file is on a remote server then you should know where it resides.
If you don't know that, perhaps you should not be opening that
database :))
I do not say this will eliminate all cases of people trying to open a
database on share but in my opinion it will decrease it substantially
when it comes to novices.
