Hi,

as there's no 1.5er release of fb for Solaris I still use the old
1.0 version.

But now I've found a problem which I've to solve: The messages.
Can I use a firebird.msg file e.g. from Linux on Solaris or is it
platform depended?

Can the 1.0 libgds handle 1.5er msg files?

Has anyone a build Solaris version of firebird 1.5? Or has anyone a
better solution for a client accessing firebird 1.5 from solaris but
the JDBC driver?

(We are using php and perl for cgis on a solaris web server)
