I posted a message on the jdbc list, someone replied the server
crashed, I tried a little more and that seems to be the problem. Does
that have to do with the growing memory size? If so, can someone tell
me what the best configuration is? At the moment I'm running firebird
on a 3ghz system, but it should also be able to run on a slower
machine. I am using windows xp/2000 as operating system.
