I'd probably second Pete's comment - If you have a broadband connection.

If not then Wingate ( http://www.wingate.com/ ) would be my next option.
I used it for a number of years - until ADSL arrived and I put in the
router. It's interesting to watch the log and see who is trying to get
in to your system ;)

NOW all the kids machines can access the internet via the router even if
I've got the servers switched off :) and it only cost 60GBP a year ago.
