I just installed FirebirdCS-1.5.0.4290-0.i686.rpm on Linux Suse 9.0.
The server is running: I can connect and execute "select" statements
on employee.fdb with isql.

But I can't connect from another machine on the LAN.
With (IBObjects) WISQL tool, I get this message:
"ISC ERROR CODE:335544721
ISC ERROR MESSAGE:
Unable to complete network request to host "192.168.0.106".
Failed to establish a connection.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively
refused it."


I have another server succesffully running FB1.0.3 on another Linux
machine.I can connect to it with WISQL, so the network itself is OK;

I can ping the FB1.5 server from other machines on the LAN.

netstat -an does not show any service on port 3050.

I have spent 24 hours on this. Thanks for any help.
