Hi,

does anyone know how to build firebird 1.5 for a powerpc architecture?

I want to cross-compile the firebird 1.5 on an i386-linux for a
powerpc-linux embedded device, but I get an error in the configure script.

I run:
autogen.sh --host=powerpc-linux --enable-superserver
--prefix=/opt/cross/firebird

and get:

"checking wether setpgrp takes no argument… configure: error: cannot check
setpgrp if cross compiling"

Please, can anyone help me with this problem?
