Hello everyone

I need use TIBBackupService for database backup. But I don't can get a
result of backup action.
I see help and internet sources, but don't look any option for get a
result of backup service with this component:(

Can get it with this component ? Can call to ibase.h function directly ?
How ? And where is code example ?

I develop a fast script runner with insert and edit blobs fields and
more.. I need add a "backup" and "restore" reserved words. For write
this in script. But if don't get a result of this actions.. it's very
uncertain :(

This script runner is GNU and I develop this for Delphi and think write
a future Kylix versión with clx.

Any have experience programing with a Free pascal compiler with firebird
? I search docs for this and a good compiler for develop this script
runner with free software. I like a Free software philosophy :)
