They added a nifty little bug (Feature) called System Restore.

IMHO this is really a good feature. Anyway, just my 5 cent.

too, I understand, although I've never used 2003 personally.

Has anyone information on this? I am running 1.5 on a 2003 Server (as I did
with 1.0.2) and have nothing disabled.
So far no problems.

I am even using volume shadow copies during backup, EVEN OF MY DATABASES,
but the way volume shadow copies work, this should NOT be a problem for
Firebird and the copies taken that way (I know no good one, but it is
development system only) should even be save. Shadow copies are taken
atomically, so these copies are like databases after power-off.

Is there anyone to explain the problem and tell me if I am wrong?
