hello,
Firebird 1.5.0.4306 SS final as a service, using Guardian, automatic
start when OS boots, no legacy gds32.dll. OS in Win XP Pro with SP1.
I've never noticed this fact before, but the Firebird service doesn't
automatically start when I boot the machine, I always have to go in
the Firebird control panel to press the Start button. I repeat that
with previous RC this didn't happen, but I have recently changed the
OS and before, almost with Windows 2000 Pro it always started
regularly at every boot.
I have looked at the Services and effectively the Guardian is listed
as "Automatic" and the Server "Manual", but it doesn't start...
I have used the Firebird .exe Installer and I have just tried to
uninstall and reinstall, but with no luck.
Any hint?
Regards
Salvatore
