When connecting to a Firebird server via TCP/IP,
are the passwords sent over the wire as plain text?
Are there any plans to allow Firebird to do an
SSL connection (I believe MySQL has this already)
to encrypt data coming to and from the server?
Is there a way to use SSH to protect at least
password transmission (if not data) to/and
from the Firebird server?
