This is not entirely accurate. No debug builds for 1.5 have been released
for Win32. What is available are .pdb files for the server and client
library. These, combined with software such as DrWtsn32 will allow the O/
S to produce a crash dump file _if_ the server crashes. The resulting
crash dump can help diagnose what the server was trying to do when it
crashed.

I've used Win32 terminology above, but essentially the same facilities are
available for the Linux builds.
